Did God create the universe in seven 24-hour days?
Can we explain the creation of the universe without God?
Does the Bible’s account of creation conflict with science?
The FREE 68-page booklet "Creation" presents the Bible’s answer to these questions.
Throughout the universe, we see signs of design, order and intelligence. The structure of matter and the physical laws point not to chaos and random chance but to wisdom and planning. Where did these laws and the matter and energy which make up the universe come from?
The Bible points to God, the self-existing one, who formed the universe and all the dwells within it. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Gen. 1:1) “God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:” — Eph. 3:9
God’s creation was not just galaxies, stars and planets but included intelligent beings—angels and men. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Gen. 1:27) However, man and some of God’s angels rebelled against God’s leadership and brought pain, suffering and death to a portion of God’s creation.
God both foresaw and allowed this rebellion to take place to teach all of His intelligent creation the importance of obeying His righteous laws. God’s plan is to bring His creation back to obedience to these laws. “After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Jer. 31:33) Gods’ plan will bring the willing and obedient back into harmony with Him in Christ’s kingdom and they shall live forever.
