When Adam and Eve sinned, they were ejected from their paradise, the garden of Eden. "Then the LORD God said, 'Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever" — therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden."—Gen. 3:22-23 NASB
However, God has promised to bring man back to his paradise through the work of Christ, man's savior. The prophet Isaiah described this paradise. "And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, ... He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; ... And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation."—Isa 25:6,8,9 KJV
